Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Construction Safety Manager to oversee and enhance safety protocols on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in risk management, occupational health, and construction management. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety among all team members.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs tailored to construction site needs.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Provide training sessions for employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into all phases of construction projects.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations related to EHS (Environmental Health and Safety), NEC (National Electrical Code), and workers’ compensation laws.
- Build relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure all necessary permits are obtained for construction activities.

- Fleet Safety operations and compliance with DOT
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental health & safety, safety management, construction or related field.
- OSHA 500, CSP certification required.
- In depth technical knowledge of construction related OSHA, federal, state, and local regulatory standards, and ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement effective corrective practices

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, unless schedule dictates weekend work.
- Some travel required.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in construction industry safety management.
